    Experience is really the best teacher. Working on jobs more often would definitely feed you with more knowledge and skills to become better at it.

    Exactly. I don't seem to understand why some people hate it so much whenever they are given feedback on their jobs. It's as if they don't want to improve.

    Personally, I think that with time, AI is most likely going to take over everything when it comes to graphic design. We are simply living in a denial now but soon enough, we are going to wake up to the truth.

    Do you know why it's like that? Well, I can tell you that it's as a result of high competition by so many graphic designers for few jobs available in the industry.

    What are some free or affordable tools students can use?

    It's just like the preloaded templates on Canva, then it gets added up with AI tools for designs, this makes Canva an indispensable tool in general graphic design.

    If you don't learn and improve on the basics of anything you're working on, there's no way you can become a pro at it. This is why learning the basics properly is very important.

    I believe it is because if not, why are so many people now going into it especially as a freelancer? Many don't even want working 9-5 for any firm because they get paid better working as a freelancer.

    Yeah, I have a very calm temperament in life. This makes it almost impossible for me to get angry over anything.

    It's not a big deal to feel that way about your first design because you're still in the learning stage. The more you practice is the more you get better.

    Yeah, that happens sometimes. If it’s really similar, I don’t start from scratch, I reuse my previous work as a base and tweak it to fit the new client’s needs. It helps me to save time and still gets the job done properly.

    A lot of newbies also ignore feedback and revisions by getting too attached to their first idea. Feedback is what helps every designer improve their work and get better.

    Looking back, I can’t help but laugh a little because some of those designs were really rough. But honestly, I also feel proud because they remind me where I started and how much I’ve improved over time.

    Honestly, I’d godly take the well-paying tough client but only if it’s not toxic. Money matters, which is a very strong consideration but peace of mind still has its limit.

    That’s how it starts for a lot of people simply from just curiosity from seeing others do it. I'm very glad you took the step and actually learned something useful out of it.

    AI is definitely changing the game, but it’s not the full story. Designers who adapt, offer unique creativity, and add a personal touch will still have an edge over AI.

    In my opinion, I think having a website is usually the best. This is because it looks professional, gives full control over your presentation, and makes it easy for clients to access your portfolio anytime.

    How do you deal with negative feedbacks?

    Exactly. With an honest feedback, even if it’s critical, is how you improve. Constant praise can actually make you second-guess if people are being truthful.
