I have lost count how many different fonts I have on my PC. I find that with each project I work on, a certain font will work best for it and I tend to look for free fonts that will work and add them into the fonts section on my PC.
It is always going to be more beneficial for you to have access to multiple fonts because it will make it easier for you to pick out the best one that is going to suit the particular job that you're working on. Having limited fonts it's not going to be good for you as a graphic designer.
Honestly, I don't know how many fonts that I have currently on my PC but I know that they are more than enough. It gives me different varieties to choose from whenever I am working on any particular project. I'm not sure if I have used all of them at once on a particular job.
Well, I'm using Windows 11 already and there’s no specified limit on the number of fonts that can be installed on it. What I'm trying to say is that I have more than 500 fonts on my PC. I haven't used all of them though.
I have used and explored a lot of fonts, hut I know that there are still many that I have not used yet. And it’s because I have not had any reason to make use of them.
