It depends on the kind of logo that I am going to work for the person. If it's simple logo, I can charge 4-5k from the person but if it's a twisted logo, you are giving me 8-10k.
I have made logos for clients but I never sold logos separately and it was a part of bigger deal, for instance, when I create website for clients, I also have to make them logo and cover graphics
Personally, I think it's very expensive to charge between $100 to $300 for just a logo design. I wouldn't be willing to pay that much for a logo.It actually depends on the kind of logo I'm working on. My fees might range from $100 to $300.
It have been a very long time since I last worked on a logo for any client. I can remember charging $15 for the last logo job I did.Do you have a set rate per logo? Or do you decide as per the challenge, no. of variations, revisions etc?
AI making things to be easier. People are using AI tools to make their designs and logos. If someone calls for a graphic designer's help, the person doesn't know anything about AI.I don't get too many logo design jobs. AI tools have made it very easy for people to design their own logos without needing graphics designer's help.
AI have taken away so many jobs from graphics designers and it's almost inevitable now that it's going to keep happening from time to time.I don't get too many logo design jobs. AI tools have made it very easy for people to design their own logos without needing graphics designer's help.
I suppose you are going to factor in the time it will take you to finish up the design. If it is one that will take a long time then you have to up your price. The cheapest that I have charged for a logo is $10 - $15 but before I do that, I will check the style or design of the logo. If it's too simple, I won't charge much.
Exactly. If it's just a simple design that won't be a stress you or your eyes, you give them the minimum charge. Anything that looks like a high jump comes with a higher price.I suppose you are going to factor in the time it will take you to finish up the design. Yes, that is why every designer should understand pricing very well so that they do not undercharge their services.Exactly. If it's just a simple design that won't be a stress you or your eyes, you give them the minimum charge. Anything that looks like a high jump comes with a higher price.
As a first timer, you will undercharge unless you have mentors that always guide you on things that they have experienced when they started. They will teach you how to charge depending on what a client ordered.Yes, that is why every designer should understand pricing very well so that they do not undercharge their services.
