Do you have any personal experience with internship? Was it useful?
Yes, I did and it was very useful. I had a personal experience with my mentor. He was an expert in designing and crafting. I decided to learn under him, though he didn't pay well but I was glad that I learnt a lot of things that's helping me till date from him.Do you have any personal experience with internship? I believe that the knowledge is what is the most important thing you should be interested in as someone working under internship because whatever knowledge you are getting from that arrangement is going to be worth more than any stipend they are going to pay you.Do you think the same applies to unpaid internship as well?
Internship is really beneficial to everybody so far you are interested on what you are learning and also what you are being taught. There have been many of them that I am glad which I learnt.I wouldn't have even had a push at running graphic designs if not for the fact that I began learning under someone. This means that internship was really beneficial to me as a person.
Internship is something that is very good for beginners in graphic designing. It's something that's going to expose them to a lot of knowledge which would ordinary the be very expensive for them to pay for in order for them to acquire such knowledge and skills.Do you think that internships help aspirant designers? Or is it a trick to pay you less and make use of the skills?
Yes, it's like not paying to get knowledge on a big subject like graphics designing. There are so many branches in graphics designing which you can choose to focus on and become a professional at it. It's what can pay you very well.Internship is really beneficial to everybody so far you are interested on what you are learning and also what you are being taught. You get it right. Graphic design is the smallest subject but have bigger topics in it. Find a good topic, be a professional and get your pay.Yes, it's like not paying to get knowledge on a big subject like graphics designing. True. It's always going to be a win win situation for both parties. I think the intern wins more because they are being saved so much money to be paid for the skills.Internship is a win for both parties involved. The employee gets experience while starting out as a beginner while the employer pays less.
If you're under internship, I don't think being paid should be your priority but getting the skills and knowledge which you need.Do you think the same applies to unpaid internship as well?
It is one of the best ways someone who is new to graphic designing can be able to get immense knowledge in the field without having to pay for it.Do you think that internships help aspirant designers? Or is it a trick to pay you less and make use of the skills?
But most of the internship opportunities today are looking for free labor. They want someone that can do the work of a full term employee with very little pay.It is one of the best ways someone who is new to graphic designing can be able to get immense knowledge in the field without having to pay for it.
It's true what you say but the real question is what the person (Intern) is going to gain? Does the intern have a long term plan for himself or herself? But most of the internship opportunities today are looking for free labor.
